News of Beckton Stock Farm

Beckton's 65^th Anniversary Production Sale was held on Wednesday April 14th, 2010. The sale was quite well attended with a near record number of phone-in bids. The 205 Beckton bulls averaged out at about $3,500 with the top bull going for $19,500; the 17 heifers averaged about $2,000 each.

Mark your calendars for the next Beckton-Mushrush joint sale on March 25^th, 2010.

Beckton's 2009 Fall Sale was held on November 9th. This was a joint sale with Mushrush Red Angus. This sale made history by perhaps being the first in the industry to be held at two simultaneous locations (Beckton in Wyoming and the Mushrush ranch in Kansas) and on the Internet via the facilities of DVAuction.
